HAPPILY EVER AFTER

By using this website, any products and services mentioned within it, and confirming your wedding with us means you give full acceptance of the following terms and conditions. If you do not wish to accept these terms and conditions, please do not use this website or book any of our services with Happily Ever After – Weddings in Lindos.

Deposit
The deposit must be paid upon booking to receive confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable.

Currency
Happily Ever After is a Greek registered company.  ALL payments are to be received in the local currency of Euros.  Where you see GBP quoted, this is purely to give our couples an indication of the approximate sterling value.

Balance Payment
Your final balance can be paid once you are in resort. Should the balance not be received, the company have the right to cancel your booking and retain the deposit and/or monies received.

If you cancel your booking
Should you wish to cancel your booking, or the booking is cancelled by us due to non-payment of your balance (see above), then we, the company, will retain all monies received.

If you amend your booking
If you want to amend any part of your booking with us, you will be liable for any extra costs incurred from taking this action, and an amendment fee of 30 Euros will be charged.

If we change your booking
In the unlikely event of this occurrence, we have the right to amend your booking at any time, without any obligations. Most changes are very minor and beyond our control but we will advise you immediately and keep you informed throughout. This will not affect our promise to you that we guarantee that your ceremony/reception/service will be the only one that will take place on that date with Happily Ever After.

If the local authorities change your booking
The Greek Orthodox church has priority over all chapels throughout Greece. If a request is put to them for a Greek Orthodox baptism or wedding, their ceremonies must be respected and we would have to reschedule. We would liaise with you and come up with the most suitable alternative available. The local town hall and registrar have the right to change your wedding venue, time and date at any time. This happens in extremely rare circumstances, but you should be aware that Happily Ever After cannot be held responsible for these modifications.
If wedding or reception venue becomes unavailable through reasons beyond our control, and it is very rare that this should occur, we will always offer our clients alternative options. We highly recommend that all of our clients take out their own Wedding Insurance policy to cover financial loss, should the unexpected occur.

Change of Wedding Planner
As in any business, staff occasionally change. Should your wedding planner change at any point, we will ensure that this does not affect existing arrangements that have already been organised on your behalf, your communication with us or any of the plans agreed for your wedding day. We will ensure that the impact on you personally will be minimal. Should you cancel your booking with us due to a change of wedding planner, your deposit and any monies paid will be non-refundable.

Changes to our rates once booked
Happily Ever After – Weddings in Lindos will honour the rate of your wedding package (Once deposit has been received) inclusive of all items included in your chosen package. One exception is if the Greek authorities (Town Hall) increase the registrar fee, which would be beyond our control.

Changes to our suppliers rates once booked
The majority of our optional extras do not require payment until you are in resort. As suppliers are quoting us, often at least a year in advance, they may (very rarely) increase or decrease the quoted rates. You are obliged to pay the applicable fee at the time of your wedding. If any changes are implemented, you will be advised as soon as possible. The suppliers reserve the right to alter their rates at any time with no obligations.
